ASB (Associated Student Body)

Name of Club: ASB (Associated Student Body)

Advisor(s): Kristy Russell and Margie Scribner-Greene

Club Overview: ASB (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer) officers are elected by the student body and are responsible for decision-making regarding monies spent to support student sports, clubs, and activities. Participation in Leadership Club is required to run for office.

Club Overview: Do you like music? Would you like to make new friends and have fun? Join the choir club! You don’t have to be a great singer, Ms. Campbell will teach you how to sing! You don’t have to sing alone, but there will be opportunities if you want to sing a solo. We’ll be singing many types of music - Broadway, pop, classical, and some music that you choose. Come sing in Choir Club, it’s fun!

Club Overview: Anyone can join. We are looking for at least two representatives from each team to help plan, create and organize activities that promote school community. This club helps to build character, leadership, decision making, organization skills and responsibility while connecting with students at all grade levels to encourage student involvement in our school community.

TSA (Technology Student Association)

Name of Club: TSA (Technology Student Association)

Advisor(s): Kristen Schlegel

Club Overview: Choose from a variety of STEM related projects, work on teamwork and leadership skills
and participate in STEM competitions through Whatcom’s chapter of the National Technology Student Association. Project options include digital photography, coding, building solar cars, web design, and many more!

Tunes Club

Name of Club: Tunes Club

Advisor(s): Mishon Kirkland

Club Overview: Learn traditional tunes on your instrument (mostly Irish). Both experienced and new musicians are welcome on any instrument. Learning tunes by ear is a fun and completely different skill than reading music. There are Irish music sessions in our community which you could play at if you learn the tunes.
